A bit of vacation from my vacation!

Chichi has a new project that will start implementation soon. After months of stress, we decided it was time for a little TLC! So we jumped on a plane to Bangkok for 5 days. We're on a foodcation! Best comfort food available, at a more affordable price than going back to Canada! Street food here is amazing and while we don't really know any Thai, some people do speak Lao, so we can understand each other a bit. I don't speak much Lao, most words I know are related to food. Chichi gets by okay, even if he's got kiddie vocab. When you don't speak your mother tongue with anyone other than family, it's hard to improve your vocab/speach pattern. Still, we're doing well enough to buy food and that's the most important! 

 The weather here is amazing! Hotter than Davao city! It doesn't feel humid, but I'm sweating bullets! Will be posting some pics once I'm back home.

Late night ~

It's been one of those days where not much was done during the day, but hello night and I'm not sleeping.. again.  Technically, we did go out today, if only for a little. But the rest of the day, I slept it away. I need a vacation from my vacation! Haha. They say to wind down before bed, you should put away your phone and take out a book. My books are IN my phone, so fat chance of that happening! Still, I decided I would lounge on the sofa, read a bit and then go to bed.  Read, I did not!  Opened my laptop, started listening to music and then had a thought cross my mind. How much would it cost to go off to Finland from here..? WOW! So expensive!! It's over $2000 CAD! Then it dawned on me, we're on the other side of the world.. makes sense!  Would definitely be cheaper to see them elsewhere. Happy Friday

Hallo my loverlys, hope you're all having a mahvelous week!  I've been watching dance tutorials on YouTube. I found a song I really love, "Strip" by Little Mix. Don't let the name of the song throw you off, it's nothing demeaning! They sing of taking off all your makeup, loving yourself for who you are. To brush off all the negativity the world throws at you, and flaunt what you have or don't have because underneath it all, you're beautiful! Listening to that song, I wanted to find choreo of it. There is no "set" choreo, you pick and choose.  I can see some of you who have known me for a long time wondering why I'd be looking for choreo. To dance, of course! We all know I can't dance, but it's never too late to start! I convinced myself I would start with something a little easier, on account of my knee problems.
