Saturday February 9th 2019

This week there was a special with Yellow Cab (a yummy pizza place) for pizza week! We get that back home too, but pizza fest is usually in the summer. This time of year it's Poutine Week, I'm sure people are enjoying it, if they're able to get out of the house with all that snow!~ Haha! That's poutine as in the food (picture fries covered in a savoury gravy, topped off with chunks of squeeky cheese) and not Putin, the Russian man! 

 The special was buy 1 get 1 free, so we bought 3! That's 6 pizzas!! Thankfully we were not alone to each all that goodness! Chichi invited M&C to join us, two of his coworkers. We had fun and lots to eat. Everyone was stuffed by the end of the night! 
We'll be meeting up next week to go bowling (yipee!!) and then home to bake some goodies! I'm so excited, I can't wait!!

Late night ~

It's been one of those days where not much was done during the day, but hello night and I'm not sleeping.. again.  Technically, we did go out today, if only for a little. But the rest of the day, I slept it away. I need a vacation from my vacation! Haha. They say to wind down before bed, you should put away your phone and take out a book. My books are IN my phone, so fat chance of that happening! Still, I decided I would lounge on the sofa, read a bit and then go to bed.  Read, I did not!  Opened my laptop, started listening to music and then had a thought cross my mind. How much would it cost to go off to Finland from here..? WOW! So expensive!! It's over $2000 CAD! Then it dawned on me, we're on the other side of the world.. makes sense!  Would definitely be cheaper to see them elsewhere. Happy Friday

Hallo my loverlys, hope you're all having a mahvelous week!  I've been watching dance tutorials on YouTube. I found a song I really love, "Strip" by Little Mix. Don't let the name of the song throw you off, it's nothing demeaning! They sing of taking off all your makeup, loving yourself for who you are. To brush off all the negativity the world throws at you, and flaunt what you have or don't have because underneath it all, you're beautiful! Listening to that song, I wanted to find choreo of it. There is no "set" choreo, you pick and choose.  I can see some of you who have known me for a long time wondering why I'd be looking for choreo. To dance, of course! We all know I can't dance, but it's never too late to start! I convinced myself I would start with something a little easier, on account of my knee problems.
