Into the clouds

This week there was a special with Yellow Cab (a yummy pizza place) for pizza week! We get that back home too, but pizza fest is usually in the summer. This time of year it's Poutine Week, I'm sure people are enjoying it, if they're able to get out of the house with all that snow!~ Haha! That's poutine as in the food (picture fries covered in a savoury gravy, topped off with chunks of squeeky cheese) and not Putin, the Russian man!  The special was buy 1 get 1 free, so we bought 3! That's 6 pizzas!! Thankfully we were not alone to each all that goodness! Chichi invited M&C to join us, two of his coworkers. We had fun and lots to eat. Everyone was stuffed by the end of the night!  We'll be meeting up next week to go bowling (yipee!!) and then home to bake some goodies! I have not died and gone to heaven, not yet anyway. It's been a long x-months. Stress is up there, kicking me down. I've caught a bug of sorts that's had me knocked out with fever and liquid poo for the past 2 days. I'm withering away~ Never pleasant when one is sick!  Still groggy, without energy, still feverish, but I felt the need to write, lest I go crazy with nothing to do. Throbbing headache keeps me from being able to watch anything.  I've started an online course on speaking Korean. I'm kicking procrastination to the curb! After the course is done, I'll have me a nice little certificate to put on my LinkedIn. I'm learning more now than in all the years I've been self-teaching myself *coughtoomuchprocrastinationcough*  It's a really fun course and I can go at my own pace, which is pretty cool too!
