Roam free in the clouds little turtlepig

It's never easy to get sad news when you're away from home. 
I was just told that Spike, our Golden Thread turtle (Chinese Striped-neck), passed away. 
There seems to have been some sort of explosion in his tank during the night. 
The water has since turned murky and the filter no longer works, but a broken filter shouldn't have killed him.. We did buy him guppies before leaving and didn't really have time to quarantine them before giving them to him. Maybe they were sick and that made our baby sick? Or maybe he caught a chill when we were moving? There can be a lot of "or maybes", but nothing will bring him back.
He had just turned 4 on November 8th. Our curious little turtlepig, he was very social and never got mad or snapped at anyone. 

 We mourn him today and will remember him always 😭😭😭

 Always coming to see us, he'd follow us within the limits of his tank.

Late night ~

It's been one of those days where not much was done during the day, but hello night and I'm not sleeping.. again.  Technically, we did go out today, if only for a little. But the rest of the day, I slept it away. I need a vacation from my vacation! Haha. They say to wind down before bed, you should put away your phone and take out a book. My books are IN my phone, so fat chance of that happening! Still, I decided I would lounge on the sofa, read a bit and then go to bed.  Read, I did not!  Opened my laptop, started listening to music and then had a thought cross my mind. How much would it cost to go off to Finland from here..? WOW! So expensive!! It's over $2000 CAD! Then it dawned on me, we're on the other side of the world.. makes sense!  Would definitely be cheaper to see them elsewhere. Happy Friday

Hallo my loverlys, hope you're all having a mahvelous week!  I've been watching dance tutorials on YouTube. I found a song I really love, "Strip" by Little Mix. Don't let the name of the song throw you off, it's nothing demeaning! They sing of taking off all your makeup, loving yourself for who you are. To brush off all the negativity the world throws at you, and flaunt what you have or don't have because underneath it all, you're beautiful! Listening to that song, I wanted to find choreo of it. There is no "set" choreo, you pick and choose.  I can see some of you who have known me for a long time wondering why I'd be looking for choreo. To dance, of course!
